The Manor House Stories
An enchanting series of traditional hardback books for children and the young at heart
Written and illustrated by Jani Tully Chaplin
With foreword by Julian Fellowes

Somewhere deep in the heart of the English countryside, many years ago, stood a large Manor House. In the House lived a family of birds. Upstairs and downstairs all the birds played their part in looking after it. In the gardens, the village and on the farm, the birds and animals worked together, in harmony with nature, to preserve the traditions and idyllic ways of life that have disappeared long ago.
The Manor House Stories follow the adventures and duties of the characters, from the lowest scullery maid upwards through the ranks of the household to the head of the family. From time to time surprising visitors arrive at the House; from a Princes to a Pirate, you never know who may appear to their magic and mischief over the Manor House......
